Awesome product
As far as kitchen shears or poultry shears as some call it go I’m going to have to give this five stars all around and I don’t give anybody five stars the product is sturdy it’s also very sharp it cuts through chicken bone it cuts through rib bones both raw and cook it cuts through a pork chop like butter the handle has a plastic coating on it so that your hands don’t slip all over the place it’s really easy to clean my only issue with these years is that they cost a little more than they should they’re almost $17 they should cost no more than $12 which is what they were two weeks ago. I’m very happy with these years and I would recommend them to anybody who needs to cut through a lot of meat or anything else for that matter they’re great for trimming veggies and I think if you use them you will enjoy them as much as I do

These were extremely helpful to prepare my 16 pound turkey by spatchcocking the Latin American way. These snipped easily through muscle and skin…need a little elbow grease to hack through the heavy bones but they did it! I like that they will be used exclusively for poultry, so I am not worried about cross contamination. The price for the quality was excellent, and they arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

Actually speaking I was a little hesitant to buy.But you will not regret for using it.First,different with other straight bladed shears I used before.It is designed on the spring return.So itâs way easier for cutting the backbones out of such as chicken and duck.And also the non-slip handle design assures much safer to use.Second,easy to wash and will not get rusty because of the stainless steel material.Recommend washing and drying with a kitchen towel after use to keep nice and long last.Last,well made and reasonable price. It is sharp and very sturdy.So you donât need to worry about falling apart even dealing with heavy duty kitchen work.I owned other shears before but broke a couple after some use.Highly recommended this one!

Great customer service on a wonderful product
These are so easy to use, so ergonomic, so powerful, easy to clean, and well-made. It’s a real quality-of-life upgrade having these in the kitchen. These are the ones to get.In my experience, the spring fails about every 6 months. I just ordered my 4th pair…I use them all the time, maybe too much… but, I can’t do without them now. They’re great for making your own spatchock-cut fowl.

These shears work very well. They have a good weight to them and are strong and sharp.Update: I just came to order these as a gift for someone and started browsing the reviews. I was so surprised to see the bad reviews because the pair I got is just fantastic. Very sharp, strong, cuts through everything. I have zero complaints. I will say that I don’t put products like this in the dishwasher, I wash them by hand. Don’t know if that makes a difference, but mine are as shiny, sharp and strong as when I bought them 2 1/2 yrs ago.

Sharp but plastic handle broke.
Purchased these quite a while back to manage cutting out the backbone in poultry so I could spatchcock turkey and chicken. First impression was that they were very sharp and durable. However, they only lasted to my third bird and then the plastic handle broke while cutting a turkey. I still think they are a great product but I wouldn’t cut anything too thick and I also didnt expect the handle to break.
