These are sharp. And I mean ridiculously sharp. Every guest that tries to use them has accidentally cut themselves- thatâs how sharp Iâm talking. Beyond that, they look modern and are clearly built to last. Hasnât shown any signs of wear on the edge in a year. Handles are made well, with a weight to each blade. Entire kit comes with a roll and theyâre pre-oiled so no chance of rust. Adequately balanced and ergonomic grip. Comes with a sharpener to retain edges. I’m a Chef by trade. I’ve been using these knives for about 8 months now. The “Damascus” marks are obviously etched on, but you wouldn’t be paying this price if they were real. The blades are sharp, they keep their sharpness for a decent amount of time, and are easy to hone. My only complaint is the handles…they WILL crack eventually, but is an easy fix.I bought this set for work, but am considering another set for home so I don’t have to keep shuffling them back and forth

We recently went to Japan and hubby was inspired by Japanese knives. Real Japanese knives are crazy expensive, but he absolutely loves these. The handles are smooth beautiful wood, the metal appears to be very good quality and performance of these knives so far in my husbandâs words â cuts everything like butter!â Also really like the magnetic acacia board, very nice touch. Iâve seen other versions on different websites for much more. Highly recommend!

I just started using mine, the knives are gorgeous and very sharp but a handle cracked after one use. Iâm not sure how well the knife blades are going to hold up, but I sure hope theyâre better than the handles.
